Yes I did have the panels painted black... I love it. As for concern from your shop, my shop didn't have any prior concern on that part of the bodywork I had done, and I'm pleased with the end result... Not that I'm pleased with the shop, I'll never go there again in fact. Horrible. I could tell you the whole story but it's not a quick procedure. I go to school at UVic, but we're in final exams right now so I won't be making the MacKenzie commute anymore... I live out in View Royal, but I do drive around Hillside mall and such just getting things done... Send me an email if you want some more info on what shops I've been to, my bodywork, interior, etc... I'd be happy to help online or over coffee. I'm also curious as to your successes with local shops, if any. I only like one shop here so far, and I've been through several.
